HONESDALE — Field hockey teams took their games inside this weekend during an annual tournament in Wayne County.
The Honesdale indoor field hockey tournament celebrated its 20th year at the middle school and high school gyms.
Teams from around our area took on each other on the hardwood.
Even though it’s the off-season, players say it’s great to have fun while honing their skills.
“It’s just for fun really. It helps us improve for high school and work better together and bond I guess,” said Ali Tedik of Wilkes-Barre.
Junior high girls played Saturday. The high school teams are set to play Sunday.
