Ever catch a sunbeam at just the right time and wish you could capture that moment? Photographer Eric Paré does just that with his beautiful light-painting series. The Montreal-based Paré travels around the world, shooting dreamlike photos in front of historic landmarks and with gorgeous models–but the true star of the photographs are his light tubes.
To capture these shots, Paré hides behind his models with a light tube and moves it to create the shapes we end up seeing. He then uses a remote to actually capture the shot (using long exposure)–so not only is he the photographer of this series, he’s basically modeling in them as well. Along with the photo series, Paré is also currently creating a short film called “Signs of Life” about his light tube photos.
See some of his pictures below, and the rest (plus details about “Signs of Life”) on his website.
