Jean Pigozzi’s new book is already a hit

Jean Pigozzi’s new book of photos, “,” has sold out before its official release.

It’s meant to come out May 10, but with no more copies left to ship, arty publisher Rizzoli said it will already begin a second-edition run. The volume by the bon-vivant photographer, art collector and auto heir features images of guests by the pool at his Cap d’Antibes estate, Villa Dorane, spanning 60 years, including Mick Jagger, Bono and Elizabeth Taylor.

When we spotted Pigozzi out on Wednesday night and asked him about his latest book’s success, he shrugged and humbly reckoned, “I’m in the book business.”

Larry Gagosian’s running a Madison Avenue exhibition of the pool pics through May 28.
