Kim Kardashian’s hair is a strange anomaly.
The star manages to have shiny, healthy-looking hair consistently, even after dramatic dye jobs and daily styling for Keeping Up With The Kardashians, not to mention her regular photo shoots.
So what’s the secret to her glossier than glossy hair you ask? Well, apparently it’s gorilla snot hair gel.
In a recent hair tutorial for Kim’s app, her hairstylist Jen Atkin is seen using the unusual hair product.
Now, although the name suggests that there is someone going around collecting bodily fluids from a bunged up primate, no gorillas are actually used in the making of the quirky hair gel.
Jen explains that the gel is perfect for holding any style in place without making hair greasy, leaving any flakiness or product residue.
The celebrity hairstylist also revealed that the gooey consistency is perfect for keeping curls in place, as well keeping frizz at bay, so hair is left looking preened to perfection.
The goopy hair gel sold is mainly sold in the US, but you can buy a tub on eBay for around €6 or €7.
Who knew Kim K would use something so affordable? Even with such a gross name, we’ll happily get behind this particular beauty hack.
