This Morning’s Phillip Schofield admits he’s considered quitting the show

Phillip Schofield has revealed that despite loving his job, there is one thing that would make him quit This Morning.

Phillip, who has just signed a £2million deal to stay with ITV for two years, told The Sun that he would leave if co-host Holly Willoughby decided to call it a day.

The 53-year-old said: ‘I would quit if Holly would. There’s no agenda there.

‘[I]t’s just the fact that we work together so well that the show’s successful.

‘I think we’d probably both make the decision together and that’s always been the plan.’ 

However, Phillip reassured fans by admitting that there was ‘certainly no plan’ to leave our favourite morning show at present. 

It’s not the first time Phillip has made the revelation: at the National Television Awards in January he candidly discussed it. 

Phillip stated: ‘We know each other really well. I’d go as far as to say that if Holly said “I don’t want to do it any more”, then I would follow. I don’t think I would do it with anybody else full-time.’

Let’s all breath a collective sigh of relief that it’s not all over yet — we love these two!
