It looks like Kylie’s dad is about to give her a run for her money in the beauty business.
Because Caitlyn Jenner is set to become the latest celebrity to partner up with MAC cosmetics. The popular makeup brand announced the news at the weekend with a tweet simply stating: ‘All Ages. All Races. All Sexes. online in Apr.’
MAC has collaborated with Jenner to create a signature lip colour called Finally Free with 100 percent of the profits going to the brand’s transgender initiative including ‘organisations and programmes dedicated to improving transgender lives.’
In an interview with MAC, Caitlyn said: ‘Before I came out, the impression I had of MAC was, “That’s quality; that’s the good stuff.”’
‘Not only is it the good stuff, but MAC also has the willingness corporately to use its reach to make a difference, to change people’s minds. To help raise funds for HIV and AIDS, and in our case, for trans issues’, she added.
On the topic of lip colour, the E! star said she want a product that would suit everyone, and could be worn every day, adding: ‘I want people to use it every day so they have to buy more. I want to raise a lot of money. It’s very simple.’
The result is a very wearable rosy nude with appeal no matter what skin tone you are.
