Mariah Carey & James Packer Are Ready To Call The Kardashians Their Neighbors — Get The Deets On The Couple's New Pad!

On Monday, it was revealed that and her new fiancé James Packer just leased a new family home in Calabasas, CA. Aww!

It’s said that the power couple selected a mansion in a fancy gate gated community called The Oaks. Apparently, MiMi and her billionaire beau wanted a residence in the famed neighborhood because the area is “family friendly.”

Well that makes sense, especially since the We Belong Together singer constantly has her little ones Monroe and Moroccan with her. Hmm, would it be weird if the twins became friends with since their poppa used to date ??

We digress.

The new pad may be for the family, but it most certainly lives up to Mariah’s diva expectations. The mansion is 18,000 square feet on one acre of land, with a sauna, theater, and gym. Not to mention, the house took about five years to build and has never been on the market.

That’s probably because all of the stones for the house were imported from Italy. Color us impressed!

Sources claim that Emil Hartoonian from The Agency brokered a deal that resulted in the Carey/Packer clan having to shell out $250,000 a month to lease the property. Good news is the famous couple will be allowed to lease with an option to buy if they would like to permanently stay in this particular spot.

Between James and Mariah’s money, we have a feeling they won’t have to look under couch cushions to scrounge up the cash. HA!
