sure likes causing controversy.
On Monday’s episode of The Wendy Williams Show, the 51-year-old decided to chat about ‘s ongoing legal battle with Dr. Luke, and the judge’s of her injunction bid.
During the conversation, it seemed as though the talk show host was calling the singer’s sexual assault claims into question.
The TV personality threw in her two sense on the subject by siding with the judge’s ruling, saying:
“Unfortunately, business is business, and it sounds like it’s fair. If everybody complained because somebody allegedly sexually abused them … contracts would be broken all the time.”
Then, she remarked that it was the pop princess’ responsibility to literally catch her alleged assailant on camera, adding:
“Kesha’s no spring chicken. I mean she’s, like, 30 years old? … So she wasn’t stupid 10 years ago and neither was her mother when the sexual abuse — alleged sexual abuse — started. Why weren’t they rolling camera on it? You know, a camera up in the wig?”
Unfortunately, statements like this are very and survivors of sexual abuse and rape, because they seem to place the blame on those who were allegedly attacked.
But what do U think about Wendy’s comments? Ch-ch-check out the clip — starting at 4:21 — (below) and let us know how you feel in the comments:
