Bette Midler is shading Kim Kardashian over her latest nude selfie.
As Gossip Cop reported, Kardashian posted a photo on Instagram early Monday morning showing herself completely naked. The reality star used strategically-placed black bars to cover her breasts and vagina, even though she’s shown both in previous photo shoots. And although this new image is actually an old throwback photo, it was never-before-seen by the public until now.
That led Kardashian to become a trending topic on Twitter, and “Kim K” is still trending more than 12 hours later. But Midler has had enough. “Kim Kardashian tweeted a nude selfie today,” the singer wrote Monday afternoon. “If Kim wants us to see a part of her we’ve never seen, she’s gonna have to swallow the camera.”
Midler’s mocking was well-received by her followers, including one who replied, “HOLY SH*T YOU ARE MY HERO NOW.” Another amusingly teased, “You’re gonna regret this when kanye becomes president.” But the music icon has never been shy about speaking her mind.
In fact, Midler has developed something of a reputation for using her Twitter to weigh in on celebrity hot topics with pointed messages. Last year, she caused a stir when she tweeted, “@justinbieber dad tweeted he’s proud of his son’s penis size. I think the biggest d*ck in this situation is the dad who abandoned his son.”
Midler and Kardashian have history, though. As Gossip Cop reported at the time, the legendary performer actually sang the E! personality’s tweets on “Jimmy Kimmel Live” almost exactly a year ago. Maybe a second installment is in order?
