Barbara Bush makes quite the entrance at Gagosian event

Barbara Bush rolled up to the Gagosian Gallery on Madison Avenue on a motorcycle Saturday afternoon, spies said, among It girls attending a book signing by photographer, art collector, bon vivant and auto heir Jean “Johnny” Pigozzi.

Arriving in less dramatic fashion were Lauren Santo Domingo, Olympia Scarry, Coco and Bianca Brandolini and pregnant Nicky Hilton.

Vanity Fair’s Derek Blasberg moderated a Q&A with Pigozzi about his new book, “Pool Party,” featuring pics of Pigozzi pals like Elizabeth Taylor and Bono posing by the pool at his estate on France’s Cap d’Antibes.

Spies said Pigozzi regaled the crowd with tales of guests including Sharon Stone (who when she arrived at the estate for the first time, was lied to by a male house guest who said he owned the joint) and Mick Jagger.

Gagosian was also at the talk, where Pigozzi, whose home’s filled with valuable art, said Jean-Michel Basquiat once offered to sell him a large painting for just $1,100 because the artist wanted to buy a Commes de Garçon suit. But Pigozzi passed.
