Talk about a dream come true.
On Monday, they were two anonymous singers with a penchant for Adele’s songs and by Saturday, they were viral sensations who racked up millions of hits and were invited to perform with the Oscar-winning singer.
For Adele’s second concert at Dublin’s 3Arena, she invited Ronan Scolard and Glenn Murphy to perform on stage after seeing their medley of her songs online, which was shared by outlets around the world.
After their emotional performance in Dublin, the pair were given a standing ovation by the enthused crowd.
On Friday night, she also gave a shoutout to former Voice of Ireland winner Patrick Donoghue, who she arranged tickets for after he tweeted his disappointment at having to miss the gig.
The 27-year-old seems to share an affinity with the capital after jetting in two days before her concert to explore the city with her three-year-old son Angelo and boyfriend Simon Konecki, who flew in on Friday.
