Christoph Waltz (“Spectre”) and Hong Chau (“Inherent Vice”) are set to join Matt Damon and Reese Witherspoon in filmmaker Alexander Payne’s new dramedy “Downsizing” for Paramount Pictures.
Payne and Jim Taylor are co-writing the film about an Omaha man who joins the throngs of people undergoing a new process that reduces them to a tiny fraction of their size before moving to one of the many communities of small people that are sprouting up around the world.
Payne and Mark Johnson will produce and filming kicks off this Spring for a late 2017 release.
