Last year SoundHoud caught us by surprise with an impressive voice-controlled personal assistant app called Hound. The service has been available in beta since then, but this week the company is officially launching Hound for both iOS and Android.
There are a few key features that make Hound so great. First, it’s blazing fast. Second, we’ve found it’s usually pretty accurate. Third, it’s capable of answering complex questions. Just try asking something like “When will the sun rise in Japan two days before Christmas in 2021?” to get a sense of the software’s full potential.
Hound also offers integration with other popular apps. You can use it to look up restaurant reviews and menus. It can even hail an Uber for you and check the price all through voice commands.
