BRIGHTON, Colo. — Police in Brighton want help finding the suspect accused of breaking into a police officer’s house and stealing weapons.
Investigators said Friday they are looking for 30-year-old Gerald Duane Havens.
“Havens is currently being sought by police for arrest on warrants stemming from the burglary of a police officer’s house in which firearms were taken,” a Brighton Police press release said.

- 6’0″ tall
- 175 pounds
- Brown eyes
- Shaved or close-cropped brown hair
Police said the suspect is reportedly homeless and may be staying with friends or relatives in the Denver-Lakewood area.
They believe he is armed and may pose a threat if confronted.
